Sodium hydroxide solution for raising the pH value in industrial water systems and wastewater treatment plants.

Description

In industrial water systems and wastewater treatment plants, the pH value must remain within the target range—otherwise, neither biological nor chemical treatment will function reliably. The 25% sodium hydroxide solution raises the pH and regulates it in chemical treatment systems.

Its second application is to neutralize the water after acidic cleaning operations, such as after cleaning a facility with an acidic cleaner—without it, the acidic rinse water would enter the circulation system.

Add it until the process water has a pH of approximately 7 to 8.
